Know How To Get Rid of Stretch Marks?

About:Tips To remove stretch marks pregnancy how to get rid of stretch marks stretch marks prevention stretch marks treatment stretch marks laser cellulite home remedies for stretch marks

Strech marks are scars left behind when skin is overstretched, and fibers in the middle layer (dermis) have broken. They most often occur during pregnancy, bodybuilding, extreme weight gain, occasionally puberty and are usually found on the abdomen, breasts, buttocks, legs, and upper arms. Fresh stretch marks appear initially as red lines and then slowly fade to a pale white color over the course of several months. While it is possible to reduce and even eliminate the appearance of stretch marks, it is much easier to prevent them.

How to Prevent Stretch Marks
Since stretch marks occur when skin is stretched to the limit of its elasticity – it follows that the best prevention is either to reduce the cause of stretching or to increase elasticity (or both).

Increase your Skin's Elasticity

* Lotion Skin Creams and Lotions – Lotions containing cocoa butter are rumored to not only help reduce stretch marks, but to help prevent them entirely. Any cream or oil that is made specifically for the prevention or treatment of stretch marks will help keep your skin healthy and elastic. If you are pregnant or breast feeding consult your doctor first as lotions can contain ingredients that may be passed to your unborn baby or into breast milk.
* Vitamin A, E & C – Supplementing these vitamins may help increase the strength and elasticity of the collagen within your skin and reducing your chance of forming stretch marks.
* Stay hydrated. Ever try to squeeze a dry sponge?

Stretch Mark Removal

If you’re more concerned with getting rid of stretch marks than preventing them, read on. There are many methods to choose from, ranging from home remedies for stretch marks, to medical and cosmetic procedures. You will notice that every single one of these remedies also helps promote the overall health of your skin – the healthier your skin is, the better it can heal itself. Always consult your doctor before undergoing any treatment, especially if you are pregnant or nursing.

Home Remedies to Remove Stretch Marks

Time – Stretch marks, like all types of scarring fade over time.
Retin-A (Tretinoin) – 0.1% Tretinoin creams have been shown to significantly reduce the appearance of stretch marks
Exfoliate daily – use a loofah or scrunchy to remove daily.
Vic’s Vapor Rub – Many people have reported success using Vic’s Vapor rub by applying it to a washcloth or paper towel and rubbing it forcefully into the scarred skin on a nightly basis for a few weeks.
Increase Circulation – by taking hot baths and massaging the areas regularly.
Unstretch the skin – After the skin returns to its normal, unstretched size, stretch marks often become nearly invisible.
Stretch Mark Creams and Lotions – Using stretch mark creams and stretch mark lotions that heal and beautify your skin can reduce the appearance of stretch marks. The following ingredients are widely accepted as beneficial for this purpose:

Cocoa butter Rose hip oil Emu oil Jojoba oil Castor oil Shea butter Vitamin A Vitamin E Vitamin C

Medical Procedures for Stretch Marks

* Surgery Microdermabrasion – Microdermabrasion is a cosmetic procedure popular in spas and salons where the top-most layer of skin is removed by chemical or mechanical means.
* Endermologie – Endermologie machines massage and work the skin in order to increase circulation and expel toxins.
* Laser Therapy – There are several different types of stretch mark laser treatments available that can help reduce the appearance of stretch marks and heal you skin. See your dermatologist for the latest information on these methods.
* Cosmetic Surgery – Strech marks typically appear below the belly button and the only way to remove abdominal stretch marks is with a tummy tuck. During a tummy tuck some of the skin below the belly button is removed. For stretch marks that appear on other areas of the body cosmetic plastic surgery can help depending on the areas affected.

How Can You Achieve Radiant Skin In Six Easy Steps

About: Tips For Skin Care from Beauty Experts Natural hair care tips, Glowing Complexion Natural hair care tips and recipes. Learn all about dry skin care, oily skin and read up on various skin care information.nformation on skin care, skin diseases, skin treatments, skin cancer, cosmetic surgery, hair and nails. Learn about skin conditions like acne, herpes, skin cancer, psoriasis, rosacea, lupus, lice, cuts and scrapes and more.

CALM YOUR COMPLEXION

A consistent, twice-daily beauty routine is the key to optimal skin health, says Emma Hobson, education manager for The International Dermal Institute. She suggests a simple five-minute regimen that includes cleansing and toning to remove dirt, oil and make-up; a moisturiser to hydrate and nourish; and a sunscreen to protect your skin. Consistency is the key to a healthy complexion, so if you want to change or add a new product, be sure to gradually introduce it: alternate between the old and new for about a week to keep your skin calm and to prevent breakouts.

MOISTURISE AND PROTECT

"Your skin needs all the help it can get to protect itself from the environment," warns Hobson, who recommends choosing a moisturiser for your skin type (oily, dry or combination), and then consider which "extras" you need, such as a hydration boost or anti-ageing ingredients. Follow with an SPF 30+ sunscreen to help prevent ageing.

Reveal radiance
Get your glow back with a moisture boost and regular gentle exfoliation.

Biotherm Aquasource Superserum, $92, and Natio Ageless Hydrating Mask, $17.95

HYDRATE: To prevent dull and lifeless skin caused by dehydration, Hobson suggests applying a hydrating serum under your moisturiser. If you need an extra boost, once a week apply a mask after cleansing.

SMOOTH: Twice-weekly exfoliation of dead cells not only reveals a new radiance and improves your skin's health, but also enables your serum and moisturiser to penetrate more effectively.

BRIGHTEN: Pigmentation and age spots also contribute to a lacklustre pallor. Products such as specialist masks and serums can help to exfoliate and diminish their appearance.

Minimise your pores

Avon Magix Face Perfector SPF 20, $24.99, and L'Oréal Paris Derma Genesis Pore Minimising Smoother, $30.95. Dr. Brandt Pores No More, $75

Before you apply your foundation, use a primer to create a perfecting veil over your complexion to conceal enlarged pores. If you tend to be oily through your T-zone, opt for a pore minimiser that also mattifies. "Put it on under your foundation and then reapply over the top of your make-up throughout the day to keep unwanted shine at bay," suggests make-up artist Sarah Tammer.

CREATE A PERFECT BASE

"Treat your foundation more like a concealer," advises Tammer. "Use it to perfect your complexion, not as a mask." Follow her advice for creating a natural result: pump a pea-sized amount of liquid foundation onto the back of your hand and, using a brush, blend the product into your skin. Apply it to red areas, such as on the chin or around your nose, as well as under your eyes to cover any darkness; blend outwards. "By the time you get to your cheeks and hairline, you shouldn't be applying any product at all," she says. "I then use my fingers to finish it off. I think the warmth of the fingertips works the make-up into the skin a little bit more." To finish, swirl a powder brush over a compact powder, tap away the excess, and lightly dust through your T-zone.

Go undercover
Once you've applied foundation, use concealer to mask any pimples, pigmentation or dark circles.

SPOT TREATMENT: If you can still see a pimple after applying your foundation, Tammer recommends using a thick, oil-based concealer. Opt for one with a yellow undertone to help neutralise the redness of inflammation. Apply the concealer with a synthetic brush and then pat powder over the top to set it.

LIGHTEN UP: To cover pigmentation and darkness under your eyes, Tammer suggests using a water-based, liquid concealer in a neutralising apricot tone. "Avoid an oil-based concealer as you'll emphasise lines," she warns. Dot the concealer on, work it in with a concealer brush "and then press it in with your fingertip. If you need to, go over the edges with the smallest amount of foundation to help blend it in."

ADD LIGHT

"Illuminators are beautiful for brightening your skin. I like to blend it along the top of the cheekbones," says Tammer, who also enlists the help of a rosy cream blush as the final step in creating a natural glow. If you tend to have an oily complexion, opt for a mineral powder blush or bronzer instead.

Know How to Look Younger & Beautiful?

About: Tips For Looking younger & beautiful anti aging products laser skin treatment oily skin treatment ipl skin treatment natural skin treatment galvanic skin treatment anti aging foods anti aging diet anti aging medicine anti wrinkle face cream anti wrinkle treatment anti wrinkle remedies anti wrinkle moisturizer anti wrinkle serum anti wrinkle ingredients anti aging supplements best anti aging anti aging tips anti aging clinic Dry skin treatment, natural herbal remedy for dry skin, Check formation of wrinkles and scaling of skin, stops cracking of skin,Herbal treatment at home

The simple things you can do to take years...and years...and years off your face.

SHRINK YOUR PORES
Your pores expand as gunk accumulates in them—and the older you get, the more likely they are to stay expanded. Put them on a diet by switching to a cleanser with salicylic acid, which "dissolves the oil in the pores," says New York City and Coral Gables, Florida, dermatologist Fredric Brandt. It also helps slough away dead skin that can lead to clogging. We like Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Facial Cleanser and BiorĂ© Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser.

LET IT RIP
Deflate and clean pores—like the ones on your nose—once a week with pore strips. (Try BiorĂ© Deep Cleansing Pore Strips.) "They really do work," says Francesca Fusco.

SLATHER ON THE SUNSCREEN
By now you probably know that you need a broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least an SPF 30, that the ingredients Mexoryl and Helioplex offer the longest-lasting protection, that you have to slather a tablespoon's worth of the stuff on your face and a shot glass–size dollop on your body...and that it's necessary to reapply every two hours if you're outdoors, including any time spent in your car. Now you just need to do it—every single day. We recommend Neutrogena Ultra-Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF 55 (with Helioplex) and La Roche-Posay Anthelios 40 (with Mexoryl), because neither will turn your skin ghost white or greasy.

GET MORE BEAUTY SLEEP
If you go to bed 15 minutes earlier, progressively, for four nights running, you'll establish a routine where you get an extra hour of dark circle-zapping rest. For your best shot at the necessary eight hours, quit the coffee after 3 P.M. and avoid exercising in the three hours before bedtime. Log off in plenty of time, too—your face is more important than Facebook. And stop hitting the snooze button the next morning—fragmented sleeping just makes you groggier.

PILE ON THE ANTIOXIDANTS
They're among your best weapons against pollution and sun. The most potent are CoffeeBerry (found in Priori CoffeeBerry Day Complex or RevaléSkin Day Cream with SPF 15), idebenone (Prevage Anti-Aging Treatment), green tea (Topix Replenix Cream CF), pomegranate (Murad Energizing Pomegranate Moisturizer SPF 15 and Estée Lauder Nutritious Vita-Mineral Moisture Lotion) and Coenzyme Q10 (Eucerin Q10 Anti-Wrinkle Sensitive Skin Lotion SPF 15). Whichever antioxidant is in your arsenal, arm yourself every morning for all-day protection.

REMEMBER THE RETINOL
Retinol rules—it's "the only thing that's been proven to reduce fine lines over the long-term," Brandt says. But like even the best long-term relationships, it isn't 100 percent perfect. It can increase sun sensitivity (that's why it's best applied at night) and it makes some women peel, flake, redden, and itch. New York City dermatologist Howard Sobel advises taking things slow: Dab it on every other night, or dilute it with plain moisturizer, until you know your skin can handle it. (Try Dermadoctor Poetry in Lotion 1.0 or RoC Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Night Cream.)

HANDS OFF YOUR EYES
You are too thin—at least around the eyes. Don't rub, poke, or otherwise fiddle with the skin there. "Every time you do, you risk breaking delicate blood vessels, which leads to darkening, dulling, and thickening of the surrounding skin," says Fusco.
When choosing an eye cream, look for gentle anti-aging ingredients like peptides (Olay Professional Pro-X Eye Restoration Complex) or zinc (found in Relastin Eye Silk)—a current favorite of Leslie Baumann, director of the University of Miami Cosmetic and Research Institue. "It's been shown to increase elastin production, which can reduce crepiness," she says.

DON'T DRINK, DON'T SMOKE
What do you do? Take care of your body to take care of your skin, that's what. Smoking is an infamous wrinkle factory that destroys collagen and elastin. (But you knew that.) Less well known is that more than one glass of alcohol increases inflammation in the bloodstream, "which can hasten sagging over time," Brandt says. Eating too much sugar is also a vice for your skin (not to mention your waistline), he says—it may affect the body's ability to repair damaged collagen.

CLEAN UP YOUR ACTIONS
Remember the little things. They can lead to big trouble—like premature aging.
• Stop squinting (sunglasses help). And if you wear eyeglasses or contact lenses, make sure your prescription is up to date.
• Avoid sipping through a straw. It contributes to lines around the mouth.
• Break the habit of resting your chin on your hand. (It stretches the skin.)
• Switch to a smooth satin pillowcase. The creases in cotton eventually make their mark on your face.

WIPE OUT DARK SPOTS
Wrinkles may be the classic sign of aging, but studies show that most people view mottled skin as even older-looking. The good news: dark spots can be faded in as little as a month. The magic ingredient is hydroquinone in Murad Age Spot & Pigment Lightening Gel and DDF Skincare Fade Gel, and it should be dabbed directly onto brown spots every night. (Yet another reason to wear sunscreen: Without it, you'll earn new spots as you erase the old ones.)

BRIGHTEN UP
As we age, cell turnover slows and dead skin cells pile up all over our face. Eventually these malingerers "reflect the light at odd angles and rob your face of radiance," says New York City dermatologist Doris J. Day. It isn't pretty. Whisk them away twice a week with an at-home glycolic acid peel, like MD Skincare Alpha Beta Daily Face Peel or Avon Anew Clinical Advanced Retexturizing Peels.

DON'T FORGET YOUR NECK AND HANDS
They're the body parts most likely to betray the age that's on your passport even when your face doesn't. Get them on the same daily maintenance program as your face, with sunscreen every morning and retinol at night. Dab hydroquinone on sunspots, and exfoliate twice a week. (We like the gentle but powerful St. Ives Elements Microdermabrasion scrub).

Lastly do regular Yoga Scientific Pranayama Meditation & indulge less in sex.

Know How to Have Glowing Skin?

About:Tips For Glowing and Soft skin home remedies for glowing skin yoga for glowing skin care tips natural skin care oily skin care daily skin care Natural Skin Care Skin Care Tip Face Skin Care - Skin Care Steps Skin Cleansing Skin Toning Skin Exfoliation Skin Moisturizing.Advanced Anti Aging Natural Herbal Skin Care products and Cosmetics Acne Skin Care Treatments Senior Anti-aging skin care for sensitive, allergic, dry, oily skin care with anti-aging anti-oxidants, vitamins, talc-free, dye-free, lanolin free Best Skin Care Line include Deep Wrinkle Cream, Dry Skin Remedy, Face Wrinkle Cream, Best Facial Moisturizer etc.

Swimwear confidence starts with sexy, glowing, sun-guarded skin. Here, the lotions and treatments that get brilliant results.

Midas Touch: Before bronzing or self-tanning, always smooth skin by exfoliating and shaving legs — even if you’re a blonde. Peach-colored fuzz? No thanks.

Overexposure: 90 percent of wrinkles are caused by the sun.

Rays of Our Lives: Two-thirds of all sun damage is incidental (e.g., while driving or walking your dog, not lying by the pool).

Bright Idea: Before you choose to lunch alfresco, consider that at midday, sun rays are 10 percent UVB (the burning rays) and 90 percent UVA (the aging rays). Both contribute to melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer.

Skinny-Dipping: Slim and lengthen the look of legs by applying bronzer or tinted self-tanner along the outer sides of legs and thighs (from the hips down) and blending inward.

Be Firm: Ever notice how you feel less jiggly when your muscles are sore? Exercise fatigue temporarily firms up muscles, so schedule workouts and bikini days accordingly.

Hello, Sunshine
Baking and (heaven forbid) burning belong in the kitchen, not at the beach. But even if you crave a sun-kissed complexion, sun-parched skin (a.k.a. wrinkles, sagging, and brown spots) is completely unnecessary. A bevy of new bronzers and self-tanners ensure the look without the damage.

Going to be in ray range? Keep your protection potent by stocking up at the start of the season. (If you’re using the right amount, you should finish a 4-ounce bottle with four applications.) Sunscreens have an expiration date — typically a year, says Miami dermatologist Dr. Fredric Brandt. But if your bottle has been sitting out in the sun or heating up in the car, toss it. Ironically, some sunscreen ingredients lose their efficacy when exposed to heat.

Regardless of what the bottle claims, no formula is truly waterproof, warns Los Angeles dermatologist Dr. Ronald Moy. While water- or sweat-proof formulas last longer, “sunscreens do wash off with water — whether you’re sweating or swimming,” says Moy. To stay protected post-pool, reapply every two hours or after toweling off.

Bare Necessities
Sexy summer skin starts with cellulite smoothing. While many dermatologists agree that topical treatments are unlikely to produce permanent results, massaging in a caffeine-infused cream can temporarily boost circulation and plump skin to make cellulite less visible. Regular exfoliation and moisturizing also help improve skin texture to minimize lumps and bumps.

As for removing unwanted hair, new regrowth-inhibiting creams and at-home bikini groomers buy you more time between waxing, depilation, or shaving. Lasers offer a permanent option but should be avoided even if you have the slightest tan. “Lasers target pigment, and since tan is pigment, it’s a potential competition for the laser and could cause problems, like burning,” says NYC dermatologist Dr. Bradford Katchen. If you’re planning on going out in the sun, he suggests de-fuzzing at least a day before hitting the beach, especially if you use a depilatory or wax. “Both can make skin sensitive, and sun exposure will increase the irritation,” he says. Yet another reason to spend some quality time under your big beach umbrella.

Home Remedies for glowing skin

Normal skin

~ Extract the juice of half an orange or tomato, mix with two teaspoons of curd. Lightly massage onto your face in an upward direction. Let it dry. Then, wash your face with cold water and wipe dry. This will give your skin a nice glow.

~ Rub the inner part of the skin of a papaya on your face. Let it dry. Then, wash your face with cold water and wipe dry. This will give your skin a nice glow.

Whenever you cut a papaya to eat, save a small portion of the peel for this purpose. You can store the peel in an airtight container for about two days in the fridge; however, it is preferable to use it fresh.

~ Grind 50 grams (around half a cup) of cabbage and extract the juice. Apply this on your face. After it dries, wash with cool water and wipe dry. This helps tighten your skin and prevents wrinkles.

~ Grind one small carrot and squeeze the pulp to remove the juice. Apply the juice on your face and let it dry. Then, wash with cold water and wipe your face dry. This helps to rejuvenate your skin.

~ Whenever eating an apple, do not discard the skin. Use it as a skin cleanser.

Just rub the inner side of the peel in an upward direction and let your face dry. Then, wash with cool water and pat dry. This helps tighten your skin.

~ Take an ice cube and rub on your face. Then, pat dry. This helps to improve blood circulation and keeps your skin healthy.

Variation: Boil some lemon grass in a small container of water and cool. Pour it in the ice tray and freeze. Later, rub the ice cube on your face.

~ Beat the white of one egg and apply on your face in an upward direction. Once it dries, wash with cold water. It helps tighten your skin and delays wrinkles.

If you are feeling too broke to splurge on a facial at the salon, let Mother Nature come to the rescue.

All you need is to do is invest some time and effort once a week, and use the ingredients available in your kitchen to concoct your own facial at home.

You can decide which facial to opt for, depending on your skin type and on the availability of the ingredients.

These facials can be done once a week, or before going for a party or for an occasion.

Note of caution: If your skin is sensitive to any natural product, it is advisable to consult a dermatologist before using any of the given remedies.

Also, please wash your face before using any of these face packs.

Oily skin

~ Make a paste of 2 tbsp of wheat flour using as much water as needed. Apply on your face in an upward motion. Leave to dry. Then, wash with cool water and pat dry. This helps remove excess oil from your skin.

~ Mix two teaspoons of raw milk, around the same quantity of cucumber juice and few drops of lemon. With a cotton ball, apply the solution on your face and leave to dry. Then, wash with water and pat dry.

~Soak two to three teaspoons of methi (fenugreek) seeds overnight. Grind into a paste, then rub on your face. Once it dries, wash with cool water.

The granular effect helps remove blackheads. Methi also helps remove excess oil from your skin.

The excess paste can be stored in the refrigerator but should be used within a week.

~ Soak two to three teaspoons of whole masoor dal (red gram) overnight. Grind into a paste and apply on your face. Once it dries, wash your face with cold water and pat dry. It gives the same effect as methi.

The excess paste can be stored in the refrigerator but should be used within two days.

~ Grind half a cucumber and squeeze to remove the juice. Apply the juice on your face and leave to dry. Then wash with water and pat dry.

It helps refresh and tighten your skin.

* Say goodbye to dry skin

For dry skin

~ Mash half a ripe banana, add a teaspoon of honey and make a paste. Apply on your face. Once it dries, wash with cold water and pat dry.

This acts as a moisturiser and helps in tighten your skin.

~ Soak khus khus (poppy seeds) overnight. Grind it with just enough milk to make a paste. Apply on your face. Once it dries, wash with cold water.

The natural oil present in khus khus helps to moisturise your skin.

~ Just before boiling milk, remove two tablespoons. Massage it lightly on your face in an upward motion. Leave to dry, then wash with water and pat dry.

This helps to keep your skin supple.

Variation: Add teaspoon of salt to the raw milk and follow the same process. However, avoid doing this if you have pimples on your face.

~ Make a paste of 2-5 tablespoons of raw peanuts with milk. Add teaspoon of honey to it. Apply on your face. Leave to dry. Then wash with cold water and pat dry.

The natural oils present in the peanuts help moisturise your skin.

~ Make a paste of one teaspoon of malai, a pinch of turmeric and four to five drops of olive oil. Apply on your face, leave to dry. Wash with cold water and pat dry.

Malai acts as a natural moisturiser and turmeric and olive oil helps rejuvenate your skin.

* Which perfume suits your personality?

Combination skin

~ Mix 3-4 tablespoons of Multani mitti (Fuller's Earth) with 8-10 ground pudina (mint) leaves. Freeze the pack overnight.

Keep outside for 10-15 minutes and then apply on your face. After 10-15 minutes, wash off and pat dry. It helps in cooling and cleansing your skin.

~ Boil a handful of lemon grass leaves in one litre of water, until you get the aroma. Then, place in an ice tray and freeze.
After returning home from work or an outing, rub a lemon grass ice cube all over your face. It cleanses the dirt and grime accumulated in your skin's pores and shuts them.

Whisk away black spots and pimples

~ Make a paste of either half a piece of nutmeg/ six to eight jamun seeds with water/ rose water. Apply on your face. Leave to dry. Then, wash with cold water and pat dry.

~ Squeeze half a fresh lemon into one glass of freshly boiled milk. Leave for half and hour, then apply on your face before retiring to bed.

~ Take 125 ml ( cup) of tomato juice and squeeze in half a lemon. Add five to seven mashed mint leaves and black salt to taste.

Drink this every morning and evening for at least one week. It will help detoxify the body.

It also helps to relieve constipation and worm infestation.

For blemishes

~ Rub a slice of lemon or the remains a squeezed lemon on your face. Allow it to remain overnight, then wash with cold water. It will restore your skin's softness and lend your complexion a glow.

~ Squeeze the juice of one lemon into one ripe tomato (in which a hole has been made). Rub the tomato on your face. Leave to dry. Then, wash with water and pat dry.

Diet tips

Diet can play a major role in imparting glow and freshness to your skin, some of the tips that can help are:

~ Drink 12 to14 glasses of water everyday.

~ Avoid eating to much of fried foods like vadas, samosa, chips, bhajias, etc. Stick to fresh vegetable salads or fruit salads.

Depending on the seasonal availability, eat all types of fresh, green vegetables and all types of fresh, juicy fruits (except for strawberries and mangoes; they are heaty and overconsumption can lead to acne).

~ Avoid consuming too much of heaty food like chillies, garlic, non-vegetarian items or dried fruits like dates.

~ Detoxify once a month by consuming fresh vegetables, fruits and liquids all day.

About:Tips For Looking Good At Beach or in swimsuit designer swimwear swimsuit t shirts Beach Swimsuit manufacturers, exporters of Swimming Costume, Beach Swimsuit suppliers, Beachwear from india, online Swimming Costume, Beach Swimsuit California style. Bikinis, tankinis, bandeaus, shorts, fit flops

Prepare to be a beach bombshell: From tummy-trimming wonders to lift-em-up champs, these genius style tricks and super flattering suits will turn even the most swimsuit-wary gal into a certified sun goddess.

"Find me a suit that Fits."
Shakira Chin, 30, is a size 8 on top and a 12 on bottom—and her before suit wasn’t flattering anything. The boy shorts cut across her hips and emphasized them; the string top made her shoulders seem more narrow. To the rescue? Separates in two different sizes! The higher-cut briefs of her “after” suit minimize her hips while the white-edged halter draws attention up. Voila—Shakira’s balanced. “I look and feel amazing,” she says.

The Dos & Don’ts of slimming hips

Don’t go wild on bottom.
The less going on there, well—the less going on there!

Do bring focus up
with a top in a lighter color, or with fun details or a pretty pattern.

Do go for a fairly high-cut bottom
to create the illusion of longer, leaner legs.

“Give me More up top!”
Shelley Worrell, 33 , always went with skimpy suits for sex appeal. The problem: “Her teeny tops just made her look boyish and drew more attention to the fact that she didn’t have much of a chest,” says Glamour editor-at-large Suze Yalof Schwartz, our 12-year makeover veteran. The fix: A structured top with ruffles to build up her bust and create the illusion of fullness. Worell’s reaction? “Now I’ve got the whole package!”

The Dos & Dont’s of creating cleavage

Don’t rule out an underwire.
“It gives shape to small busts,” says Suze Yalof Schwartz.

Do go for extras
like ruffles, beading and pleating. They add bulk and visual interest.

Don’t do bandeau.
“They’ll flatten you out even more,” says Suze Yalof Schwartz.

“Flatten my stomach!”
Kailee O’Sullivan, 19, thought finding a suit that was sexy and gave her coverage was mission impossible. “Tankinis just ride up and expose what I’m trying to hide,” she says. (Exhibit A: Her too-tight before suit.) “And one-pieces are so matronly,” she adds. Not this season’s superchic styles, like the cute ruffled one above. The super-control Lycra and spandex mix of the fabric holds her in, and the ruching camouflages any bulges.

The Dos & Don’ts of Tummy Flattery

Don’t go for shine.
It highlights every lump and bump. Matte is much better.

Do skip tankinis
unless you find one with an un-clingy top.

Do show some skin.
A high-cut leg or low-cut top draws eyes away from your middle.

“More support—stat!”
Sarah Slick, 27, says it’s hard to find a bikini that can rein in her 38DD chest: “Either the cups are too small, or the underwire is too short, or the flimsy hook that fastens it doesn’t make the band tight enough.” That about sums up what’s wrong with her droopy “before” suit. What makes her “after” style so uplifting: cups big enough to hold her in and a band under her breasts that ties in back, allowing her to make it super-secure.

The Dos & Dont’s of chest control

Do nix triangle tops
if you’re bigger than a D-cup—not enough support.

Don’t do high necklines
unless you want a uniboob. Didn’t think so.

Do know that underwire or a hidden bra
is a must if your top’s not a halter.

“Don’t hide my body!”
Megan Garcia, 33, wasn’t trying to ignore her curves. “I’m proud of my body and I want to show it off!” she said. But the dowdy suits she’d found in her size, like her “before” one above, did just that. Its high neckline, low-cut legs and round print made her look larger and shapeless. But in her “after” suit, with its more revealing spaghetti straps, higher leg, waist-defining ruching and sleekening control panels—hello, bombshell.

The Dos & Don’ts of Looking Sleek

Don’t run from stripes.
Just be sure they’re vertical or angled across your body.

Don’t say no to bikinis.
Just avoid thin string ties, which can dig and create bulges.

Do try a wrap style
if you have a thick middle—it’s a waist whittler!

Know How to Care for oily skin?

About: Tips For Treatment Of Oily Skin Tips For Beautiful Skin Skin Care Products Skin Natural Treatment skin care treatments Skincare. Oily skin. what is oily skin. Causes for oily skin. How to care for oily skin. Natural remedies for oily skin. Natural care for oily skin Anti-Aging Skin Care Products, Organic Skin ... Organic skin care products

We would hope it never gets this bad but oily skin can be no fun to deal with, often looking dull and shiny. Hormones, diet, skin care and genetic makeup all play a role in the body’s production of oil. Some people get occasional oiliness whereas others suffer more chronic symptoms as the sebaceous glands become overactive and produce more oil than the skin needs - therefore becoming more prone to outbreaks.

How to care for oily skin…

* Cleanse the skin gently morning and night to gently lift the excess sebum and impurities from the skin.

* Use a sunscreen that is oil free and non-comodegenic.

* Include recommended amounts of protein, leafy green vegetables, fresh fruit and drinking water in your diet.

What to avoid…

* High levels of sugars and fat in the diet, highly refined foods and excess alcohol.

* Smoking - it increases pore size.

* Harsh cleansers that strip the skin of its natural oils – forcing it to produce greater amounts of oil to compensate. These cleansers can also cause the skin to become irritated and sensitive.

If your skin is oily, it usually has a lot of shine to it very soon after cleansing and the pores are generally slightly enlarged. It is more prone to pimples, blackheads, and whiteheads than other skin types and is coarser in texture. Your skin tends to attract more dirt than dry skin, so wash your face twice a day with a gentle non-foaming cleanser and warm water. Rinse with warm water. Use an alcohol-free, hydrating toner to help remove additional residue. Oil blotting sheets through out the day can help control shine, and it takes as little as 3 minutes after lunch.

Washing your face with a mixture of brown sugar and a few drops of milk (enough to form a mud-like consistancy) washes away dirt and excess oil, leaving your skin feeling smooth and refreshed. This scrub can be left on your face for as long as you like.

Your cleanser does not have to be special for oily skin, but a cleanser with salicylic acid may be good if you have tendency to acne.

Once a week, use a clay mask to help clean deep down into your pores. This will help to clean off any extra oil and dead skin cells. Again, be sure to use this only once per week, or you skin will increase its oil production to compensate. It is important to drink water to keep our system clean as well as to have a healthy diet to eliminate toxins.

Know How To Have Luscious and Sexy Lips: the Pros' Guide to Great kissers?

About:Face Care Skin Care Lip Care hot lips sexy lips dry cracked lips cherry lips cracked dry skin heal cracked lips cracked peeling lips cure cracked lips attractive lips for kissing. Below given points will help you in taking care of your lips

For a mouth so sexy Angelina would be jealous, we asked the gurus at Clinique for their best lip-care advice. Get ready to pucker up.

How is lip skin different from other skin?

"Unlike skin on other parts of the body, lip skin is transitional. The thickness of the skin increases from the inside of the lip to the lip-line. In addition, lip skin lacks oil glands, sweat glands or hair follicles, which are present in the skin covering the rest of our bodies," explains Dr David Orentreich, Clinique guiding dermatologist.

Why are lips susceptible to drying and cracking?

"Dry lip skin is usually the result of moisture loss exacerbated by wind, cold and low humidity," says Dr Orentreich. "Since the skin on the lips is thinner than other skin, lips react to irritation from the elements with a more immediate response."

How does saliva affect your lips?

"Saliva contains salts which can dry lip skin, and the water in saliva speeds evaporation of moisture away from lips, often resulting in dryness and chapping," explains Alison McBurnie, Clinique's national education manager. "For those who suffer from dry, chapped lips, the key is to add moisture and keep it there by drinking lots of water, avoiding alcohol, wearing a protective lip balm and avoiding licking of the lips. This is particularly important in windy weather as water evaporation is increased, leaving lips dehydrated and extra prone to chapping."

Are lips vulnerable to environmental damage?

Yes, explains Dr Orentreich. "Lips are vulnerable to damage from a host of external elements such as wind, sun and environmental toxins, because the protective moisture barrier is very weak," he says. "In addition, lip skin possesses very little melanin, so the lips are more likely to experience damage from ultraviolet light."

Are men's lips and women's lips the same?

"Unlike facial and body skin, there is no difference between the lip skin of a man or woman," explains Dr Orentreich. "Each possess the same thin, transitional skin. Women's lips, however, are often more resistant to external damage because they very often wear lipstick which can offer protection."

Many lip products contain petroleum. They offer fast relief to dry, cracked lips but what can one expect from long-term use?

"Petrolatum (a derivative of petroleum) found in lipsticks comforts lips, both immediately and over time by helping to protect against dryness, keeping lips moist and supple," explains McBurnie. "Because lips tend to dry out or lose moisture more readily, they need constant lubrication to remain in good condition. To ensure this, Clinique combines petrolatum with a blend of other highly moisturising ingredients, such as pomegranate sterols and astrocaryum murumuru seed butter found in the High Impact Lip Colour, to provide optimum levels of hydration, comfort and improved condition in both the short and long term."

Can lip balm protect lips from future damage?
"With regular application, lip balm can provide a moisture barrier and, therefore, protect them from the drying effects of wind, irritation and excessive heat," says Dr Orentreich.

Winter Lip Care

Lips tend to dry out the fastest at this time of year. Be sure to keep them covered with a good lip balm applied several times during the day. Warm sesame oil will also soothe your lips . Avoid licking your lips and don't bite the skin on the surface of your lips. The skin will never have a chance to heal if you chew on it. This is a hard habit to break but well worth the effort. Lip balms are now commonly available with an SPF factor as well to protect them from the harmful rays.

Summers are back with a bang...and so are countless summer skin woes! From skin ailments including sun tan, sun burn and dehydration to serious

versions like blemishes, pimples and pigmentation – summers are notorious for ruining our skin. But you don’t have to fret!

Take a heart and beat the heat this summer, maintaining your beauty and keeping your skin soft, supple and well nourished with these home-made summer skin care recipes...

Tired of the tan?
When wearing your summery dress becomes next to impossible thanks to changes in your skin tone due to excessive tanning, these natural bleaching agents can be used thrice a week to cleanse your face and body ...
1. Summer facial bleach
Ingredients: 4 tbsp milk, 1 tbsp honey, 2 tbsp lemon juice.
Mix all the ingredients and apply the mixture evenly on the tanned areas for 15 minutes. Once dried, wash with cold water. Works best for greasy and oily skin.

2. Yogurt and honey cleanser
Ingredients : 4 tbsp plain yogurt, 2 tbsp honey, 3 tbsp lime juice
Mix all the ingredients. Add a little cornstarch if you think the paste needs thickening. Apply on your face and massage for 2-3 minutes. Rinse with cold water.

For an all- natural exfoliation...
Excessive heat added with dry winds, overheat the body and it’s the face that suffers the most. The delicate tissues get damaged and the outer layer of the skin bears dirt deposits in the clogged pores leading to an excessively rough, wrinkled and dry skin. A quick and easy session of exfoliation is all that you need in case of such beauty emergencies!
1. Oatmeal exfoliating scrub
Ingredients: 1 tsp fine oatmeal, 1 tsp baking soda
Mix the ingredients in enough water to make a thick paste. Rub over face for 2-3 minutes, rinse and pat dry. It’s suitable for all skin types.

2. Curd and gram flour scrub
Ingredients: 1 tspn gram flour, 1 tspn lemon juice, 2-3 mint leaves, toned curd, a small piece of grated carrot
Mix all the ingredients to form a past and apply on your face. Rub in round motions to clean the deep rooted impurities.

Get the glow back...
You face seems to have lost its lustre? Well, here’s all that you can do to get back your lost sheen and make your face smooth, soft and fresh like never before in just 20 minutes...
1. Home spa recipe
Ingredients: Pineapple pulp, grapeseed oil, papaya pulp, mulethi and turmeric
Mix all the ingredients to make a paste. Now apply a generous amount of the mixture on face and neck leaving the eyes. Let it dry and rinse with fresh water.

Pimple problems...
This comes straight from your kitchen garden to bring relief to a pimple prone skin...
Ingredients: 3-4 tbspn cucumber juice, 1 tbspn lemon juice, a pinch of turmeric powder, 1 tspn sandalwood powder, mint leaves (tulsi) and basil leaves.

Mix all the ingredients and apply on your face for fifteen minutes. The pack has an overall cooling effect apart from taking out dead cells, dried sebum and infectious bacteria accumulated in the clogged skin pores.

Tone it up!
Apart from regular bleaching, cleansing, scrubbing and exfoliation, your skin requires bouts of toning during the summer season. So, instead of depending upon chemical-based toners, here’s a natural toner...

Find an aloe-vera plant in your vicinity. Now, just break a leaf, break it into two and use the extract or the juice mixed with natural rose water for best skin protection from tanning and clogging. This also helps to overcome the skin allergies, rashes and itching.

Just getting the cleanser right, even though it's only on your skin for seconds, is important for building the foundation of beautiful skin,' says Vaishaly Patel.Anti-age skincare needn't be expensive, laden with chemicals or exclusive to celebs. Holland & Barrett's De Tuinen Snail Gel £19.99/50ml contains collagen and elastine proteins which promise to bond skin tissue and improve appearance.

Make-up artist to Madonna and Dannii Minogue, Aimee Adams, raves about it. 'I love its tightening and smoothing effect,' she says. 'An instant face-lift, it gives me a younger and firmer look.'Fresh face masks 'feed' your skin goodness - and they're cheaper than beauty serums!

Lush Sacred Truth Face Mask (£4.95/75g) contains powerful anti-oxidants including wheatgrass, green tea and ginseng, which mop-up ageing free radicals and repair damage. My skin felt amazingly soft after using it.Beauty sleep does what it says on the tin, so make sure you get your full eight hours every night.

'We tend to forget our skin is the body's largest organ,' says Noella Gabriel; Director of Product & Treatment Development at Elemis. 'It reacts badly to stress and needs to repair itself while we sleep.'

So, make sure you're relaxed at bedtime by avoiding using your computer late at night, not eating too late and try having a relaxing bath or drinking camomile tea.Stress and tension held in the face and jawline isn’t a good look! People don’t realise how much they are carrying - and that it really does age you. Regular facials will help to de-puff and de-stress the complexion.

The Organic Pharmacy Facelift Massage (£60 for 60 minutes) utilises acupressure, drainage, and deep muscle stimulation to tighten skin and underlying muscles for firmer, younger looking complexions.Lifeless, dull and dry hair adds years to your face, so make sure you keep your hair in tip top condition. Use Frederic Fekkai Ageless Damage-Defense Capsules £31.00/45capsules.

'It's designed to address the specific factors that degrade or age the individual fibres of the hair where cuticles have become weaker, lost their shine due to over-processing of the hair and UV damage,' says Frederic Fekkai. Anti-age creams don't have to cost an arm and a leg. 'They just requires key ingredients’ says Geraldine Howard, MD of Aromatherapy Associates.

'It's important to use essential oils such as rose, frankincense, peach, borage, avocado and wheatgerm. Avoid mineral oils as they don’t penetrate deeply into the skin, and can also stop the effectiveness of other ingredients going into the skin.'

Aromatherapy Associates Renew Rose & Frankincense Facial Oil £28.50/15ml.Hands can give away or even exaggerate our age! Use hand cream daily to soften and hydrate those hard-working hands.

Origins Make A Difference Hand Treatment (£15 for 75 ml, from www.origins.co.uk) contains sea haricots to repair environmental damage and scutelleria which evens-out skin-age spots.

Meanwhile, meadowfoam seed oil lavishes moisture onto the skin, so youthfulness is restored, perfect!Indulge in ancient Thalassotherapy Treatments by booking a spa-break in the sun. Thalassotherapy combines heated seawater and water-jets to reduce stress, increase blood circulation, relax muscular tension and slow down the physical signs of ageing.

Visit www.Marbellaclub.com, which has Thalasso anti-stress programmes ranging from one to six days (one day’s rate is 185 Euros). Thalassotherapy completely relaxed and de-stressed me - grab your best friend or mum and pamper! It's fashionable to avoid the gym and exercise outdoors these days!
yoga/pranayama/meditation per week can actually slow-down the ageing process, giving you a body ten years younger than someone who doesn't exercise. Does this explain why Elle MacPherson looks so good at age 44? We think so!

And finally: protect that skin! Look after your skin this summer by using sun factor protection daily. No Scent sun lotion has an SPF of 22 and is made from 88 per cent organic ingredients (£15.99 for 200ml from www.greenpeople.co.uk).

'The UK’s variable weather means we can get a sudden dose of UV unexpectedly,' says Dr Hilary Allan, Cosmetic Dermatologist of Woodford Medical.

'External factors act together to contribute to the ageing look, from natural sun and UV exposure, to sun beds'.

1. Start by taking a sauna to wake up your face and give you a natural glow. This will wake up Justify Fullyour skin and make you look amazing and refreshed. After that, make sure to eat a breakfast that’s healthy with fruits and skim milk.
2. Smile daily. You'll reveal a new you.
3. Wash your face, and moisturize your skin with SPF 30 and letting the lotion set for 10 minutes. Make sure to do your makeup in the most natural day light possible to avoid obvious mistakes!
4. Add some foundation to even out your skin tone (have naturally clear skin…a zit here and there is okay as long as it’s not taking over your whole face.) Do not try to cake on the foundation because then it will look obvious. Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse is excellent and cheap. Apply small amounts with clean fingers until you cover your face.
5. Add some powder to set your foundation (again, not too much!)
6. Add some pink blush to the apples of your cheeks (smile when you’re putting it on).
7. Add some black eyeliner on your bottom lids if you feel you need it (do not make it obvious because that’s the whole point) but apply a little bit so you don’t look like you have small and weird eyes.
8. Apply a lipstick (not lip-gloss!) that’s a cherry color and has no sparkles, shine, or gloss. It has to look like it’s your natural color of your lips and make sure to apply it perfectly and to blend well! Sometimes, applying with your fingers will get a more natural look and less intense if the color is really dark. Also, don’t forget to exfoliate your lips at night and then applying Vaseline for extremely kissable lips.
9. Finally, add your Prada glasses (if you want), sweats, and messy bun for your just “rolled out of bed, but look extremely good” look.
10. Always keep your hair brushed.m
11.Ayurveda is the ancient medical science from India which covers all aspects of life including beauty. In India beauty is considered a blessing from God and it is our duty to keep our bodies and mind healthy and beautiful. Ayurveda believes that beauty is not just skin deep but comes from within too.To look and feel beautiful, one should follow all the five lines of treatment in Ayurveda. They are Herbs and herbal remedies, Food and diet, Ayurvedic massage and bodywork, Yoga exercises and Daily lifestyle routine.
12.Self-massage when practised everyday can turn back years and make you look younger and more beautiful.
13.Use an Ayurvedic oil to suit your skin type (Vata, Pitta, Kapha). Alternatively one can also use pure, cold pressed sesame oil for daily massage.Spend at least 15 minutes to massage your whole body and face. Concentrate on various Marma points or energy centres. This will help release blocked energy. Once energy start flowing in an uninterrupted manner, not only will you feel fresh and rejuvenated but you will also look young and radiant.Taking a warm bath or shower after a massage is essential to wash off any toxins that may be drawn out to the skin surface.Alternatively, you can take steam on your face and then apply an Ayurvedic face mask containing sandalwood and rose (both of which are skin rejuvenators).

Know How To Look Better & Beautiful by Tomorrow ?

(About :Looking Beautiful Body Care Skin care body lotion body massage Natural skin care treatments )

What a difference a day makes: Get a flaunt-worthy physique with quick-fix tricks that actually work.

Neck
While beachy waves are sexy, "a high ponytail makes the neck look long and thin," says Sacha Quarles, former stylist for Sex and the City.

Cleavage
"With between-the-breasts as your canvas, use shimmery bronze to create depth and shimmery silver to feign the illusion of fullness," says Linda Hay, lead makeup artist for Victoria's Secret.
MC recommends: Victoria's Secret Very Sexy Mosaic Luminous Bronzer

Triceps
To tone upper arms, Olympic gold-medal swimmer Melanie Valerio advises grabbing a can of soup in each hand, then, with arms bent in front of you at a 90-degree angle, lowering and raising them. Do three sets of 10.

Nails
"Soak nails in freshly squeezed lemon juice to remove stains and leave tips clean and bright," says Ann Marie Cilmi of Bliss Spa. Follow with nail oil and buff to a shine.

Waistline
"To make the waist look narrower, use a white pencil liner to dot an egg shape on each side, starting below the rib cage. Fill in just this area with a self-tanner one shade darker than your natural skin and blend," says Cindy Barshop, owner of Completely Bare spas.

Butt
Smooth and tighten the derriere by exfoliating with a caffeine-based scrub. Wearing a skimpy bikini? "Apply self-tanner all overexposed cheeks in one shade darker than tanned legs," suggests Barshop.
MC recommends: Aspara Aromatics Kopi Scrub

Legs
When legs need to be ready for their close-up, professionals call for makeup. "For camera-ready perfection, I use Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs in Medium Glow. It not only covers scars and tattoos but also makes legs look longer and calves more sculpted," says Wendi San George, head makeup artist for Deal or No Deal.

Cellulite
"Rubbing a natural-bristle brush upward on dry skin can minimize skin dimpling," says Cilmi, "since increased circulation breaks up toxins."

Thighs
Some swear it is possible to melt away up to an inch - if only temporarily - with anticellulite creams. Massage cream into thighs, then wrap with Saran Wrap to seal in all-important heat. Remove after 20 minutes.
MC recommends: Orlane Paris Slimming Contouring System

Feet
To elongate legs, wear flesh-tone sandals with a single strap. Multiple straps can make legs look stumpy, says Deb Svarc, makeup artist for Pout cosmetics.

Know How to use Make-up & Look Good? or How to Apply Make Up

(About : Skin care Products Jocuri Makeup make up barbie make up girls best makeup celebrities makeup tips eyes makeup free make up artist daily skin care Natural skin care dry skin care)

Make-up has come a long way since the times when harmful ingredients like white lead and mercury were a common feature which resulted in obvious
side effects.

But its function, through the ages, has stayed more or less the same, to mainly highlight a prominent feature and camouflage a flaw.

Cleopatra, who through the ages has remained synonymous with not just being a beauty but also with being well- versed with the magic of make-up, continues to conjure up images of extreme beauty well worth emulating. And luckily enough, make-up has evolved beyond its enhancing properties and now it even does its extra bit at protecting the skin from the stresses of modern day city life.

When make-up is used correctly, even the smallest eyes can be made to look large and expressive and the thinnest lips an enticing pout. May it be the jaw line, nose or the cheekbones, there isn’t any facial feature that cannot be accentuated with a touch of make-up. Since Indian skin has forever been considered to be better than Caucasian skin, we have been able to get away with not using as many make-up products.

But in spite of that, the trend is now fast changing and everyone from fresh faced 16-year-olds to more mature women are quickly adapting to the conveniences of blurring blemishes and break outs with as little as a concealer or a loose face powder.
There are a couple of factors that should be kept in mind before using anything on your face. Most importantly, ensure that your skin type is well suited to the kind of products you use.

A good way to test make-up for allergies is to try it out on the underside of the elbow rather than directly on your face. Hypo allergenic products are a good option for sensitive skin but one of the more interesting innovations of recent times is mineral make-up. As the name suggests, it is made from natural ingredients and this innovation completely removes the risk of skin problems arising from various chemical ingredients that were used earlier. It includes minerals like mica powder, iron oxides and titanium extracts to name a few, which means no parabens, free radicals or extra oils. The products are almost completely non-comodegenic, which means no more blocked pores either. Another big draw towards mineral make-up is that it offers your skin a certain degree of protection from the sun but it cannot replace a good sunscreen.

Besides allergies, other important criteria to keep in mind while making your purchases include checking its shelf life. Using products past their ‘best by’ dates can result in major skin irritations and break outs which could leave a lasting effect on your skin. On an average, products such as concealers, foundations and lipsticks can be used anywhere between one and three years, depending on the brand.

However, it is important to bear in mind that your skin’s capacity to tolerate certain products also depends on the season. The sweltering heat and sultry humidity can wreak havoc with your make-up to say the least and that is mainly why summer make-up should be minimal. Foundation may liquefy and loose powders can cake up because of sweat. It is essential to modify your regular regimen to accommodate the needs of the season.

Another important aspect of skin care is proper make-up removal. Clogged pores caused by stale make-up can lead to oily skin and occasional break outs. Understandably, late nights may cause you to go to bed without removing your make-up once in a while. But it is extremely important to follow a strict cleansing routine on a regular basis. For the eyes, an oil-based eye make-up remover used on a cotton swab is the most effective and it is a fool-proof way to ensure that there isn’t an unsightly residue left over the next morning. For the face, steer clear of using soap and use a cleanser instead.

Follow these simple tips, and your face will be summer ready in no time at all.

Know How to Take care Of Skin In Summers

(About : skin care tips natural skin care oily skin care daily skin care dry skin care hair care acne beauty tips lazer skin treatments arbonne skin care organic skin care olay skin care natural skin care products look beautiful skin Facial Skin Care )

Here are some suggestions to keep your skin looking beautiful all summer long:

homemade masks Drink lot of water through the day, not only to replenish moisture lost to the heat and sweat but also to help flush toxins out of the body and keep skin looking clear and lustrous. Herb or spice teas, made with skin-enhancing ingredients, offer added therapeutic benefit. Choose cooling herbs and spices such as mint, cardamom and fennel.

Eat lot of fruits, vegetables and herbs, which supply the skin with essential nutrients and come with free-radical fighting antioxidant properties while they help keep your skin cool. Carrots, lettuce, summer squash such as zucchini, celery, asparagus and leafy greens are good vegetable choices. Sweet juicy fruits such as pears, grapes, watermelon and mangoes both nourish our skin faces a constant barrage of chemicals everyday from pollution to harsh chemically formulated products that strip the skin of its natural balance.

Milk is a cooling beverage that also supplies nutrients to your skin and helps to keep it from drying out. Drink a cup of milk every day, and also combine milk with ingredients like almond meal and rose water to make a balancing skin cleanser.

Get plenty of quality rest each night. Keep your bedroom cool, dark and comfortable and sleep on cotton or linen sheets. Get to bed early and awaken early for clear healthy skin and sparkling eyes.

When you feel stressed, angry or frustrated, your skin will show it over time as furrows and small lines and breakouts. Practice calming yoga poses or meditation to stay serene and help your body and mind manage stress. Use essential oils, such as rose, sandalwood and lavender to keep mind and heart balanced.

Keep your skin nourished with a herbal moisturizer. Look for ayurvedic formulations that contain skin-friendly herbs such as sandalwood, turmeric, brahmi, amla and aloe vera. At least once a week, treat yourself to a fruit or vegetable mask appropriate for your skin type. Cucumbers, avocados, apricots and papayas lend themselves well to homemade masks.

Use some fruit or vegetable and blend with some yogurt, honey, oatmeal and lemon juice or rosewater and apply evenly to the face. Let stay for 15-20 minutes and then rinse off with lukewarm water. It will make the skin shining.

Eyes and feet should be given extra care everyday. Splash lots of cool water on your eyes. Soak some cotton pads in cool water or rose water and place them over closed eyes for 10 minutes.
